Bar
Ideally situated at the heart of Dorset′s world Heritage Jurassic coastline, in Chickerell near Weymouth. The Lugger Inn is a traditional village pub with locals bar, restaurant, function room/skittle alley, beer garden, bed and breakfast and holiday cottages.
The bar houses five hand pumps serving local and guest real ales and cider, a full range of lagers, sprits and comprehensive white wine list from around the world. The pub is themed in a traditional style, with many artifacts and pictures of local fishing scenes.
The pub is open from 8.00am with food served all day starting with breakfast, morning coffees, lunches, afternoon teas and bar meals served all day till 9.30 pm.
Restaurant
Open from 8am for breakfast lunch and throughout the day until 9.30pm. Our separate non–smoking dining room is open from 12 noon until 2.30pm and again from 6.00pm util 9.30pm throughout the year, serving a variety of locally sourced seasonal fresh fish, meats, poultry and game together with freshly prepared vegetables and salads.
Much of our produce is sourced locally with beef and steaks coming from Bride Valley Farm Shop. Bride Valley Farm Shop have a large herd of Longhorn Cattle which are renowned for some of the best tasting beef in the country.
A Carvery is served every Sunday from 12 noon onwards featuring a variety of meats and vegetables. Bookings are advisable as the restaurant is often busy.
We have a sample menu for viewing but is by no means complete as our specials and fresh fish boards change daily.
The Cottage Room
The cottage room is available for all occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversary's, funerals etc. and doubles up as a skittle alley and dinning room. The Sunday carvery is also served from here.
